Adam reminded me about this forum so I thought I would join and post my want list and request yours. I am not going to post a haves list- 15 years of magic makes that a waste of time. I am instead going to post my mainly rather fanciful want list. Obv if you are on this forum and on the [old or new] swanmagic forum then you will have seen most of the list- I think I ahve a trade to finish with Nathan anyway, and last time I checked Si and me had difficulty balancing a trade. Some of u I would have met at swansea or cardiff. I am happy to trade through intermediaries like Adam or directly.

I am generally looking to not trade for expensive std stuff using older stuff that has high value, as I am playing as much modern as standard that makes no sense- most standard cards go down in value when they rotate. Cards that won't (eg planeswalkers) I do not mind trading for using older, more valuble cards. Generally its standard for standard though.


I am happy to balance trades with std boosters (which I normally sell at 2.75 or less for last years) or cash either way to make things level and ask only that you use places with cards in stock as a value guide. I also don't mind being a couple of dollars down on a bigger trade if the cards I want are better in my opinion.

Even if u have nothing on my list I will sell cards I own if you give me your want lists and I have cards that u need and I do not want to keep.

Do not be afraid to ask for anything- I do sometimes have spares of bigger cards like snapcaster etc.

Well, I have a spare Tower of the Magistrate. If there's anything else that will get me to that spare Noble Hierarch of yours then let me know (now or in the future). Tower is around 50-55% of a Hierarch, so there is a ways to go... Unfortunately I don't have spares of anything else on that list of yours, certainly not for a Noble Hierarch anyway.

Not sure what the players have got on this forum-I speak to and see Adam reguarly, of course. Tom I seem to remember has a very decent selection of cards.

Tom as in Tom Miller aka Lord Migit? He and I already did a biiiiiiiig trade for cube stuff. I got my fourth Hallowed Fountain, a lovely Mirrodin Solemn for the cube I'll eventually build, some other low-priority bits and pieces for myself and a load of stuff I hope to eventually trade on. I have a LOT of spare cube stuff, so diversifying my trades with some spare Modern stuff and a stupidly expensive basic land (Unhinged foil) seemed like it might be worth it. Time will tell!

I doubt there will ever be a Legacy PTQ season, let alone one in Cardiff!
